The Envision OC team has been given the opportunity to share the stories of local Orange County entrepreneur siblings Kamran and Nadia Ansari. The young inventors Kamran, 16 and Nadia, 18 have started their own revolutionary company, called FluxWear in 2020.
FluxWear is a wearable tech company determined to help those struggling with stress, anxiety and chronic pain manage their symptoms. Their premiere product, SHIFT, is a wearable neuromodulation device designed to help users achieve a meditative state and attain the health benefits of meditation, such as reduced stress and pain, increased focus and deeper sleep.
This company started when Nadia was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré in 2017. GBS is a rare, autoimmune disorder in which a person’s own immune system damages the nerves, causing muscle weakness and sometimes paralysis. Kamran continued to see his sister struggle to manage the chronic pain induced by this illness, he decided to take matters into his own hands to help his sister. That is when Kamran came up with the company’s main product called SHIFT – the wearable meditation device that utilizes PEMF technology to help place users in an effective meditative state to more easily attain the desired health benefits of meditation in just 25 minutes. With SHIFT being able to ease Nadia’s pain, and has enabled her to return to a degree of normalcy in her life, it was then that Kamran realized that Nadia was not alone. There are many people around the world who want to meditate to attain the various health benefits, but find it difficult due to high amounts of stress, anxiety or pain. Orange County is the perfect place to start, grow and get your name out to the public with many other entrepreneurs, that is how the Asari siblings brought their invention to the public.
